Native Plant Sale 2021

Thank you to everyone who supported our 2021 Native Plant Sale! This was our most successful sale ever! We raised $3,598 to support conservation work in Newton County.

Our plant sale funds were used to purchase a bison hide for The Nature Conservancy. The hide will be used at Kankakee Sands for educational outreach programs and school groups.

Kankakee Sands Site Manager, Trevor Edmonson, and Friends of the Sands President, Jeanette Jaskula, stand with a bison hide recently donated by Friends of the Sands to The Nature Conservancy’s Kankakee Sands.

The 2021 Native Plant Sale is over. You’re welcome to browse the fliers and information below to learn more about how our sale works. Be sure to check back early next year for our 2022 sale.
